.MOV-e would like to congratulate Frederick Rabbath and his team for winning the $5,000 first prize in the 48-hour Guerrilla Film Competition with their submission: The Board
The competition is a grueling annual 48-hour challenge in which participants are given a random genre with a totally unrelated line of dialogue that they have to work into the story somehow. The filmmakers then have 48-hours in which they need to plan, write, shoot, edit, and upload their movies.
F.C. Rabbath Creations got HITMAN as the genre, with, “That guy’s an abuser, a loser, a boozer, and a user” as the line that had to somehow be seamlessly worked in. The movie below is what they churned out in 48-hours.

Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone that participated and finished their short films. You should all be extremely proud of yourselves! And yes, we also entered this filmmaking bootcamp from hell, and you’ll read about our own misadventures in an article that we’ll upload soon.
Don’t miss out on the next one!

Of course he won. Rabbath is a genius. If I known he had entered I would’ve never entered. Great article.

Hey Jerry!
Thanks
Yeah, we couldn’t agree more. We have a few questions for him, so if he agrees, we might stick up an interview on here shortly…

I must admit I couldn’t wait to see who the winner was because I knew that it would be an exciting watch but I was still somewhat surprised at just how good it was. Much respect to the guys for pulling of such a clean and well paced short!
