Thor is a heartwarming Superhero story that touches on the characteristics that define a hero. The acting, plot, and special effects are superb and this is most definitely a must-see.

Len:

Len shares his thoughts on THOR
I must admit that I didn’t really devour Marvel Comics as much as I did DC Comics when I was a kid. I knew about Thor and always saw the comics on the shelves, but never bothered to get into it. A dude with a hammer? I mean; really!

That said, the Marvel movies have converted me and I’ve enjoyed each and every single one that they’ve released to date. I might even start getting the comic books. And yes, Thor is no exception. It’s a brilliant movie with a great cast, and getting to like the character takes no effort at all. I can’t wait for the Avengers movie! Oh yes… be sure to watch the end credits; not only will you be treated to the AWESOME Foo Fighters song, Walk, but you’ll also get to see a dum dum daaaaaaaa moment that will shed some more insight into the upcoming Avengers movie.

Clarisse:

Clarisse shares her thoughts on THORI LOVED this movie! I think the director and writers brought the story line from the comics very well across to the viewers and I felt that there was enough background info to pick up and enjoy the whole story. I was sad when it ended because I did want more. The acting was great, the actors were YUMMIE and I thought it was one of the best super hero movies I’ve seen in a long time.

Overall Rating : 4 out of 5

Thoughts:
Acting
4.5 / 5
The actors were great; especially Chris Hemsworth.
Characters
4 / 5
All the characters (even the minor ones) were well developed.
Directing
4 / 5
The director did a fantastic job in bringing the THOR character to life.
Editing
4 / 5
Really good across the board.
Story
3.5 / 5
The story was slightly on the bland side, but the movie gets away with it because it’s kind of an ‘origins’ story, so the main focus was really more on the characters and how they all tie in together.
Overall
4 / 5
Not a bad package, and one well worth buying.
First Impression (Cover) vs. Payoff
4 / 5
The cover and the movie complement each other nicely.
